Astrid Velásquez

Founder of Fieldable Research, her first contact with market research happened while she was working as a Creative Writer for an advertising company, and it was ‘love at first sight’. She has been managing projects and moderating since 1993. She has managed more than 3000 quantitative and qualitative projects in a large variety of market segments in Mexico and all over Latin America and the Caribbean.

During the time she has been working in market research, she had developed the foresight to anticipate problems before they even happen and solving them to achieve success. She also knows that clients traveling from abroad need to know the project is being supervised closely and that things will happen as expected. And Astrid makes sure things happen, while trying to exceed her clients’ expectations.

She is Latino and not only speaks the languages, but also understands the nuances and idiosyncrasies of conducting market research in Latin America. She is always keen to understand the clients’ needs and questions and to offer suggestions and solutions to any problem, being these adapting the screeners or the projective techniques, finding the most adequate venues, reaching representative samples in any country across Latin America or using the ideal fieldwork techniques to reach the correct targets.

Over the years, 99% of her clients come back to her whenever they need to conduct research in Mexico or Latin America. This can only speak well about her compromise to quality and service.

Astrid holds a bachelor degree in Social Communication and an MBA. He is fluent in Spanish, English, German and a little Portuguese. She spends her spare time visiting her two daughters living in Los Angeles, California, and she also enjoys spending time at the beach doing her favorite hobbies: reading novels, writing short stories and taking her board out for some paddle surf.


Diego Rueda

With a bachelor degree in Gastronomic Business Administrator, one of Diego’s indispensable personality traits is his incredible memory and capacity to organize things. His tenacity and orientation towards client service, has been his best tool to manage hundreds of international projects, regardless of the methodology, the market segment or the level of complexity.

He is currently in charge of our online research area and moderates boards or online communities, supervises recruitment and project set up for many of our clients.

Diego is constantly finding new ways in which to improve the management of our client’s projects, while keeping in mind that human connection and open communication are key to achieve the best results. He speaks Spanish, English and a little French.

His professional career, has taken him through a variety of jobs, starting at an amusement park; working by the beach in southeastern Mexico, becoming a barista at Starbucks, and even spending months on a cruise ship in the warm waters of the Caribbean and the Pacific North. His curious mind brought him to market research where he is finding a constant source of fun experiences and something new to learn with every project.

He recently decided to explore the worlds of music and photography, creating artistic work due to his capacity to notice details.


Carlos Enrubia

Since 2009, Carlos has worked in different businesses with his talent o always finding creative solutions that nurture business strategies. Open minded and fearless, Carlos constantly challenges the status quo, seeking to exceed the client's expectations, without losing sight of the fact that the human connection is paramount.

His personality has led him to collaborate with different international markets. He began his experience at Starbucks creating exceptional human connections, from where he found some of his best friends. He also generated sales strategies for an international Student-exchange agency where he managed leadership, administration and service, analysis and effective communication workshops.

At Fieldable Research, Carlos is in charge of managing many of our projects, supervising recruitment, booking venues and simultaneous interpreters, choosing wonderful catering options for our clients, and in general terms, Carlos is key to making things happen as they are supposed to happen. He is also host to all the projects conducted in Mexico and sometimes even in other countries across Latin America.

He is fluent in Spanish and English and is also a great conversationalist with whom you can spend hours talking about any topic, because he is an avid learner, that pursues many different themes he is passionate about. He also cares about animals, enjoys going to the gym every day, loves to do experiments in the kitchen and on Sundays you will probably find him at some cinema watching the latest release.
